Ursula Gazeley

Postdoctoral Researcher in Reproductive Demography at the Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science

Ursula is a postdoctoral researcher in reproductive demography at the Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science, Oxford Population Health. She is working with Dr Joshua Wilde on the SEXRATIO project which investigates the effects of maternal stress on the sex ratio at birth. 

Prior to joining Oxford Population Heath, Ursula completed her PhD at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, where her research focused on the measurement of maternal morbidity and mortality. She has also worked as a consultant for the World Health Organization’s Human Reproduction Programme on global estimates of maternal mortality and causes of maternal death.
